Guy Bester is the Co-Founder of DarkHorse Insurance Solutions and a retired U.S. Army Officer who spent more than 20 years leading people, managing complex operations, and solving problems where the details mattered. Today, he brings that same mindset to helping individuals and families with life insurance, annuities, and long-term financial protection. Guy believes insurance should make sense before anyone is asked to make a decision, so he focuses on explaining the options, answering the hard questions, and helping clients build a plan that fits their goals, family, and budget.

Herman Whitaker is a Licensed Insurance Professional with DarkHorse Insurance Solutions, bringing 36 years of experience in higher education and organizational leadership and a lifelong commitment to helping others succeed. A U.S. Army veteran and AHIP-certified Medicare professional, Herman works with individuals, families, and small businesses to find practical solutions for Medicare, health insurance, life insurance, and final expense coverage. He takes an education-first, family-centered approach, helping clients understand their options and choose protection that fits their needs and priorities. Herman is also the published author of Find Your Compass: The Key to a Magic-Driven Life.
